Valmet will deliver a comprehensive Valmet DNA automation system to Lostock Sustainable Energy Plant (LSEP) currently under construction in Northwich, Cheshire, United Kingdom.

Valmet will deliver a full-scale central control room simulator to Nordic Ren-Gas, the leading Nordic green hydrogen and e-methane developer in Finland.

Metsä Fibre’s bioproduct mill in Finland was recently successfully commissioned. The material, environmental and energy efficient mill will not use any fossil fuels, and it will produce two terawatt hours of renewable electricity per year. Valmet’s technology and automation contributed to the sustainable operation and high-quality end product.

Valmet is to convert Helen Ltd’s coal-fired district heat boiler to bubbling fluidised bed (BFB) combustion to enable wood pellet firing at the Salmisaari power plant in Helsinki, Finland.

Valmet will deliver a Valmet DNA automation system to a lithium project run by Sibanye-Stillwater’s subsidiary Keliber in Kokkola, Finland.

Valmet will supply a new tissue production line, with the latest technology, to Metsä Tissue’s mill in Mariestad, Sweden. The delivery also includes an extensive package of stock preparation, automation and service solutions.

As part of the offering for board and paper makers, Valmet has developed Enzymatic Starch Cooking ZE (zero effluent) to improve operational reliability and quality of the starch cooking process.

Valmet has been selected to rebuild the cooking, fiberline and evaporation plant of Andhra Paper’s Rajahmundry unit in India.

The order includes Valmet’s distributed control system (Valmet DNA DCS/MCS), a Valmet IQ Quality Control System and a Valmet IQ Web Inspection System.
